Trauma Care Specialist • Military Veteran • Co-Founder, Aksanio
Board certified anesthesiologist focusing on trauma. Has worked in the UK and US. After building a global network of physicians, I co-founded Aksanio to bring that frontline insight to healthcare technology.
Board-certified anesthesiologist and full-time faculty member at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, specializing in trauma care with a distinguished military medical career spanning three continents.
With dual degrees from Rutgers University, a medical degree from the Uniformed Services University, and advanced training across three countries, I bring a uniquely multidisciplinary perspective to patient care. My experience spans from operating rooms at premier academic medical centers to forward-deployed military medical units and NATO maritime operations. Along the way, I've built lasting professional relationships with physicians across the US, UK, Europe, and the Pacific.
Beyond clinical practice, I am an inventor holding a US patent for the Next Generation Junctional Tourniquet, and a published researcher with contributions to military medicine and anesthesiology journals.
These experiences — and the global network of colleagues I've built — led me to co-found Aksanio, where we apply real-world clinical insight to build technology that actually serves the physicians and facilities that need it.
